Omar Maher joined EFG Hermes Research in 2008 after completion of the company’s Investment Banking Program (IBP) as a MENA Telecom analyst. He now heads the Telecom sector team, covering telecom stocks listed in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Morocco and the UK. Moreover, Omar has worked on the initial public offering of Raya Contact Centre, which was listed on the Egyptian Exchange in April 2017. He holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, which he obtained, simultaneously, from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, Egypt (2007) and Poitiers University, France.
