Shabbir Malik is the lead analyst covering banks in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Jordan.
Shabbir joined our financials team in 2010. He has over 13 years of experience as an analyst at a bank, a consumer goods company (Engro Foods), sell-side and buy-side research. Prior to joining EFG Hermes, he worked at NIB Bank (now MCB) in Pakistan as Head of Business Analytics. As an equity analyst, he also covered fertiliser and cement stocks. He earned his undergraduate Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University, where he double-majored in Accounting and Finance.
